Isidor Feinstein Stone (December 24, 1907 - June 18, 1989; born Isidor Feinstein, better known as I.F. Stone and Izzy Stone) was an iconoclastic American investigative journalist. He is best remembered for his self-published I.F. Stone's Weekly. At its peak in the 1960s, it had a circulation of about 70,000, but was regarded as very influential. In fact, The I.F. Stone Weekly was ranked sixteenth among the greatest journalistic triumphs of the twentieth century by a poll of his fellow journalists.
