Henry Bennion Eyring (b. May 31, 1933) is an American educational administrator and religious leader currently serving as the Second Counselor to Gordon B. Hinckley in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Eyring has also served in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, the presiding bishopric, First Quorum of the Seventy, and as Commissioner of Church Education of the LDS Church.

We so easily forget that we came into life with nothing. Whatever we get soon seems our natural right, not a gift. And we forget the giver. Then our gaze shifts from what we have been given to what we don't have yet....

As you start to write, you could ask yourself, 'How did God bless me today?' If you do that long enough and with faith, you will find yourself remembering blessings.
