Richard Wayne "Dick" Van Dyke (born December 13, 1925) is an Emmy-Award winning American actor of film, stage, and screen, comedian and dancer. He is known for his starring roles in Mary Poppins , Chitty Chitty Bang Bang , The Dick Van Dyke Show in the 1960s, and Diagnosis: Murder as Dr. Mark Sloan in the 1990s. He recently played the role of Cecil Fredericks in Night at the Museum .
